Tips for blush on a long face

Hi friends!

I haven’t blogged for a week because of a trip to Israel. I just was not able to blog there.

To my good fortune I found an other model for my fourth makeup lesson, my friend Annika. She works at the municipality of Amsterdam and was off on that specific Monday. Within this organization Annika has a new job, during the makeup lesson she was also working on her phone. She got a bit tired of sitting so long in the same chair. But the result was amazing. I created a timelessly sexy look at the end of the lesson.

In the theoretical part of the lesson we talked about the blush. I keep it simple because it is a technical story. The blush can be used to decorate and/or shape the face. A small face – like Annika – should not become smaller by shaping. This is why I applied the blush as  decoration from the ear until the middle of the upper cheak, which suits the type of her face the best.

In our assignment about the eye makeup we had to work with the crease. You first use dotting (see the image) and then you connect the line with the outer eye corner. It is all about millimeters but the eye definitely gets another position in the face.
